A legacy of customer service and quality

The FRSTeam by Cappys legacy of customer service began in 1944, when the Capobianco family opened its first dry cleaning retail location in Baltimore. By the 1960's, Cappy Cleaners had 13 locations and a reputation for high-quality service throughout Central Maryland.

Beginning in the 1990's, restoration services played a larger role in the Cappy operation, along with service to insurance adjusters and contractors.

Over the next 20 years, the firm focused largely on fabric restoration as it sold or retired retail locations. In 2009, FRSTeam by Cappys was launched and opened a new, modern, fabric restoration facility. An electronics cleaning facility opened in 2018.

A fourth generation continues the Cappy tradition, as FRSTeam by Cappys grows and expands its operations throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
